In Lithuania, about one million people are counted among the poor, which is just under one third of the country's population. The countries with the lowest percentage of people in poverty are Iceland with only just under thirteen percent, Norway with only about fourteen percent, and the Czech Republic and the Netherlands with only fifteen percent.
