While presenting the results of Lithuania's presidency of the EU Council to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite said that the adoption of the economic growth and human improvement solutions have helped to put the European Union on the right track. She asserted that for Europe it is very important to continue that work. Among the main results of the presidency Ms. Grybauskaite mentioned the consensus reached in time for the 2014 EU budget, the progress in the development of the banking union, and an integrated EU internal energy market, as well as the support of historical changes in Ukraine.
