Level of corruption has decreased in Lithuania

This year, the non-governmental organization Transparency International gave Lithuania 57 points out of 100 possible in the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) study. Zero means an absolutely corrupt country and one hundred is a very transparent state. With the lattest results Lithuania climbed five positions to 43rd place out of 177 countries listed. Last year Lithuania received 54 points and took 48th place out of 176 countries in this study.
