Seeking her second term, President Dalia Grybauskaite has asked ordinary Lithuanian citizens for financial assistance. On Monday, she turned to her supporters on Facebook, asking them to offer donations to her campaign.
President Grybauskaite opened an election account in SEB bank. Residents can donate up to 22 320 thousand LTL to any candidate but not more than 10 per cent of their previous year's income.
