The large Christmas tree in The Town Hall Square of Vilnius will be lit on November 30 at noon, and the largest Lithuanian Christmas tree will be lit in the Cathedral Square on the same day at 5 pm. Guests will be greeted by Santa Claus, treated to fire tricks and musical performances, and fireworks will light the sky.
The charity event will run from 10 am to 5 pm, and various souvenirs and Christmas delicacies from different countries will be available for purchase from foreign ambassadors, their families and embassy workers.
The bank DNB's ice skating rink will be open daily from 11 am to 10 pm until February 1st 2014.
The Dione Train with heated seats and driven by elves will run weekends and holidays on the city's main streets.
