On the 24th of October at Oslo namai (Eng. Oslo Residence on Mindaugo street 27), the works of some young Lithuanian artists who create in the UK will be presented. The exhibition was first opened in London in August at the initiative of Curator Barbara Grigaliūnaitė and Lithuanian Culture Attaché in the UK Rita Valiukonytė. The art agency Artscape is happy to have the opportunity to move the exhibition to Vilnius.
The exhibition Point of View is like a white sheet of paper, in which points of view of artists from the younger generation of Lithuanians are positioned. It presents, analyses and combines them into a single whole, like playing "connect the dots " when interesting and unseen drawings become visible. In contemporary reality, these dots and approach angles are influenced by various changing factors, which form choices and the world outlook of the young creators.
The exhibition presents artists whose works are influenced by life existing between different countries and cultures, all of which form a specific creative touch and tone and by which they address the viewer.
Contributing artists include Paul Herbst, Eglė Jauncems, Simona Kaunaitė, Ulijona Odišarija, Joskaudė Pakalkaitė, Paul Paper, Dovilė Puzinaitė, Imantas Selenis, Andrius Svilys, Indrė Šerpytytė, Jovita Valaitytė and Andrej Vasilenko.
