Over thirteen thousand Lithuanian citizens signed a petition against human embryonic stem cell research funding from the European Union budget.
Laurynas Kasčiūnas, the coordinator of the European campaign in Lithuania, will present the Lithuanian Central Electoral Commission (CEC) with all of the signatures collected in a year and a half.
