Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius does not rule out the possibility that after the introduction of the euro in 2015 there could be a slight increase in the minimum monthly salary. The head of the government said that he thinks it would be possible to raise the minimum monthly salary to a certain extent along with the introduction of the euro, but the actual amount of the minimum monthly salary will depend on the numbers.
Previously, Mr. Butkevičius had argued that raising the minimum wage in 2015 should not be associated with the introduction of the euro.
