With Lithuania working to adopt the euro as early as next year, Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius has stated that international competitions for publicity for the currency will be announced, the winners of which will have to complain explain the currency to residents in simple language. According to the head of the government, this job has already been started by the Bank of Lithuania and the Ministries of Economy and Finance, but public relations companies will also be involved.
