Today at the Lithuanian Parliament’s press conference hall, a press conference initiated by signatory of the Lithuanian Independence Restoration Act Zigmas Vaišvila, called “Will we regain the state?” was held.
Mr. Vaišvila has stated that President Dalia Grybauskaite, occupied with rescuing herself after the “provocation” on the 31st of October of this year, the Lithuanian Parliament and the Government have obviously been lacking time for the most important events in the state—they have not had time to tell people their opinion about the referendum regarding getting back the land of Lithuania and, thus, the state itself.
There are ten days left until the end of the collection of signatures. Mr. Vaišvila has invited people of Lithuania to make a crucial step—to collect at least 400000 signatures of Lithuanian citizens for this referendum.
The signatory has also addressed the representatives of the Republic of Lithuania and encouraged them to be on the side of the nation—to help the nation to overcome this barrier by their signatures and actions.
