The Deputy Minister of Energy, who is ethnically Polish, has called president Dalia Grybauskaite a liar

Deputy Minister of Energy Renata Cytacki, who was delegated by the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania, has joined the fight for the rights of ethnic Poles. During work hours she wrote statements praising the party chairman Valdemar Tomaševski and attacked president Dalia Grybauskaite, calling her a liar. She went on to write that she supports Member of the European Parliament Tomaševski and other MEPs who have expressed their categorical opposition to the infringement of ethnic minority rights in Lithuania.

Ms. Cytacki plainly stated her opinion that President Dalia Grybauskaite openly misled the international community and Members of the European Parliament when she said that no international organizations have reported violations of the rights of minorities in Lithuania; according to Ms. Cytacki, the president was lying.
