The Lithuanian Ministry of Culture has announced that the organizing committee for Lithuania's February 16th Independence Day, having received and considered 54 applications, decided to support 18 projects for the February 16th commemoration.
A total of a quarter of a million litas from the taxpayer’s common treasury is allocated for the eighteen projects. However, it has also become apparent that tickets would have to be purchased in order to attend some of these patriotic and citizen-funded projects.
