The streets of Vilnius became Sweden and post-war Berlin this week

Yesterday, on October 8, from the afternoon to after midnight, some streets  in Vilnius were closed for the shooting of the Swedish television series Gentelmen and Gangsters. According to Jurate Pazikaitė, the Director of the Vilnius Film Office, which is assisting the Swedes, “This is an important project to Vilnius, involving over 700 people”.

One of the actors, David Fukamachi Regnfors, says that he loves to work in Vilnius. "There are many old buildings that are worth seeing, as well as some great cafes. Beyond that, I really like the atmosphere of the city. It seems that this is a dynamic, fast-changing city, in which there is always something going on, " said the Swedish actor.

The story is based on the famous Swedish writer Klaus Ostergren's best-selling novels, and it begins in 1967 and continues to this day. Two friends Henry and Klas, along with their friends Leo and Maude experience various adventures and experiences -- boxing, looking for hidden treasure, getting interested in old forgotten stories and trying to resist the regime, which is dictated by secret agents, the rich and politicians.
