A robot called Robo Spyder created by Lithuanian scientists will be shown at the London Science Museum robot festival running from November 27th to December 1st. During this festival meant for all ages thirteen biology mimicking robots from various European countries will be presented, many of which will be exhibited for the first time. The festival, entitled Robot Safari this year for its wild nature theme, will show robots imitating an underwater turtle, a jellyfish, bats, salamanders, baby cheetahs, shining shoals of fish and a variety of other mechanical plants and creatures that flap, fly and crawl around the museum .
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore robots up close, to become familiar with the latest inventions in the field of biomimetic robotics, and to participate in interactive sessions (called workshops), during which it will be possible to learn how to program and create simple robots.
