In 2013, over one hundred and nineteen million litas worth (at current prices) of gross domestic product was created. Compared to 2012, real GDP growth, adjusted for the effect of the number of seasonal and working days, stood at 3.4 per cent (without the adjustment for working days GDP grew by 3.2 per cent.). The highest GDP growth was driven by a recovery in the construction sector, manufacturing and domestic consumption.
