The president of Lithuania is pleased with both the country's handling of the presidency of the EU and its growing economy in 2013. While signing next year's budget, Dalia Grybauskaite said that the Lithuanian economy is predicted to be one the fastest growing in the European Union and that growth will finally be felt by all the people in the country. She also stated that next year should be devoted to solving social problems. The country's current leader has promised to announce within a month whether she will stand for reelection in the presidential elections.
