Lithuanian Prime Minister says that he still thinks that agreeing on a reduction of 20 to 25 percent in the price of natural gas is realistic

Negotiations between Lithuania and the Russian gas concern Gazprom have stalled, and the latter is urging the Lithuanian government to begin them again. Gazprom Deputy Chairman Alexander Medvedev has sent a letter to Lithuanian Energy Minister Jaroslav Neverovič.

Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius admits that the negotiations with Gazprom are very difficult, but says that he still thinks that agreeing on a reduction of 20 to 25 percent in the price of natural gas is realistic.
