The Lithuanian government, stuck in negotiations with the Russian gas giant Gazprom, is trying to encourage the company to reduce the price of gas supplied to Lithuania. However, according to Adviser to Minister of Energy Daiva Rimašauskaitė, that does not mean rejecting the possibility of dialogue; specifically, she stated that the door remains open, and the arbitration process could stop as soon as the price is reduced to a fair level.
