After Social Democrat Artūras Skardžius proposed voting on amendments to the Fisheries Act without the government's input, Environment Minister Valentinas Mazuronis said that the coalition partner is trying to push through some corrupted law, which clearly protects the business interests of particular groups. Mr. Skardžius replied that they do not understand who is trying to create corruption. In this context it is interesting that at the beginning of the year the Social Democrat's wife profitably sold her business to a company registered in Lithuania but whose real owners are big businessmen in Moscow.
