Thirty-one-year-old Gabrielius Landsbergis, who currently works as an advisor to the Government Chancelor's Office in the Foreign and EU Affairs Division, has been proposed as a candidate to the European Parliament by the Homeland Union-Lithuanian Christian Democrats Antakalnio department. Vytautas Landsbergis wished his grandson success, but is not sure whether he will be able to get on the the final list of candidates for the European Parliament. According to him, everything is in the hands of fate.
